Stuart is a Cardiff-based artist and co-creator (with Chris Lynch) of this character, The Magpye. The witty pair were holding court at the Markosia table and bemoaning the state of the Welsh comics industry, a similar refrain to those of the Welsh film industry. I'd first met Stuart and Chris a few weeks previously at a Cardiff Comic Creators meetup (read: evening in a pub) so it was great to catch up with them. (Bristol International Comics Expo 2008)
