Staz Johnson began working on magazines for the role playing game industry before being signedup by Marvel UK to work on Transformers and Action Force. Since then, he's worked for 2000AD, Marvel and DC on such titles as Thor, Spider-man, Cable and Deadpool and New X-Men. Wikipedia entry

 I'd been waiting in Mark Buckingham's queue for nearly an hour and Lew had just finished his banner when I noticed Staz packing up on a table on the other side of the room. Cheekily, I quickly nipped over and asked him if he had time for one more sketch. Thankfully he said yes and I had to embarrassingly ask him what he'd worked on (again, must do more research next time!) As soon as he said Cable and Deadpool, I knew I had to have one of those - Deadpool is Ben's (my housemate and now landlord) favourite comic character. A very cinematic banner - thanks Staz!
