 As the Small Press Expo at the Mercure Hotel was only on for one day, I decided to head back there before the end to see if there were any other sketches I could get. Simon is a Bridgend-based artist and is also one of the Orangutan Comics group. He had a table on his own at the Small Press gathering and it was good to finally get a drawing from him after meeting him at previous conventions. This sketch is of Caradog, the villain from Simon's story Unbelievable (The Man Who Ate Daffodils.) (Bristol International Comics Expo 2009) |
