John Higgins
John Higgins was an early contributor to Brainstorm and 2000AD before becoming known for his colorist work on The Killing Joke and Watchmen. He has since written and drawn a number of his own works, including Razorjack.

John was the colourist on The Watchmen and I was therefore able to get my copy signed by the final artist contributor (after getting it signed by both Alan and Dave on previous occasions.) Although John was publicising his own comic at the convention, he was clearly playing the populist card by doing Rorschach shetckes. Rather ingeneously, he'd created a cardboard template of Rorschach's body and was using thick markers to make a very striking noir image. I particularly like the use of white pen to produce the streaks of rain. (Bristol International Comics Expo 2009)
