Dylan Teague

Cardiff-based Dylan has spent a lot of his time working for 2000AD, including inking for Strontium Dog, Judge Dredd and Future Shocks. He's also done a large number of 2000AD covers, many of which are available as prints (see below.)

Dylan had previously done me a sketch after the last Birmingham convention so I asked him for a drawing from a graphic novel he's currently in the middle of illustrating for a French publisher. These are the two main characters from the crime story but I can't go into any more detail than that! I looking forward to adding more from Dylan and Patrick soon. I met Dylan through Mike Collins at the Birmingham convention and ironically he lives not far from two of my old lodgings in the Roath area of Cardiff (thankfully for him I'm now on the other side of the Taff.) I didn't get the chance to get a sketch for Dylan at the convention but I had a great time chatting to him outside in the real world. Just before we left for Cardiff, he showed round his portfolio of work and all of his drawings were superbly detailed and finished. There was no question about the quality and I hoped I'd be able to get a sketch from him at a future time. Once I'd got this website into a reasonable state, I emailed him and he very graciously volunteered the banner at the side. It's the first one in colour and hopefully not the last from Dylan's sketchbook! Now, I could do with some more posters for my walls... (Cardiff 2007)
