 Dave had been in the larger room in the Mercure Hotel on the Saturday - the same room I'd completely missed while I was there! Luckily, he was moving onto a table in the Ramada on the Sunday so I went over to see his latest work and pick up a copy of his sketchbook. He was inundated with customers so I left him with a page so that he could draw it when he had more time. I returned a while later and Dave had not only done a sketch but water coloured it as well! It's a really beautiful drawing of a Japanese samurai character from his new book and the scan doesn't do it justice. (Bristol International Comics Expo 2009)
