Al was born with severe spina bifida and has written two books about his experiences, The Spiral Cage and Spiral Dreams. He has also worked for such titles as The Dreaming, Hellblazer and Vermillion. Home page

 Al is the writer and artist of The Spiral Cage and mainly attends conventions doing Manga sketches and selling books from his stall (he also owns a bookshop.) However, I prefer to get a drawing based on the artist's own work or projects so he drew a collection of characters from his various comics, including himself and his wife in the centre.
