Adam is a writer and artist, mainly producing independent graphic novels and painted artwork. His works include his 550-page Cosmogenesis, The Prison and other Tales and The Dragonfly: An Eleanor Moreau Mystery.

Adam was sitting next to Simon Wyatt and was just about to pack up his things when I asked for a sketch. We had a really good chat about comics and his own work, particularly teaching and running a drawing class at a local prison. He's a good example of a working artist, balancing personal publications (comics and paintings) with paid teaching and exhibitions. Adam took his time over this drawing (I can't really call it a sketch!), inking it using a brush instead of a pen. I hope he didn't miss his train! (Bristol International Comics Expo 2009)
